MY MISSION

Since the beginning of time, stories have shaped our minds. They hold the power to transform the worldview of entire generations and act as catalysts in the evolution of consciousness. My mission is to create and share stories that empower, uplift and unite people. To inspire and awaken our common humanity and divinity through the written, spoken and performed word. To create cinematic experiences that foster powerfully positive perspectives, that transport and enchant, and that reimagine a more harmonious way of life.

All my work strikes a deep chord between philosophy (who we are, why we are here, where we’ve come from, and where we are going) and delightful and playful humour. For isn’t wisdom only meaningful if we can embrace all of ourselves, live from the heart, and laugh at ourselves often?!

My passion for innovative, soulful and exceptional storytelling is my channel to catalyze an audience’s process of self-luminosity, ignite universal compassion, and open the doors to understanding our fundamental unity. Ultimately, I believe that beauty is the portal through which we can create a more harmonious world.

I believe in creating a new story. One that deepens our connection to ourselves, to each other, to the universal classroom that is life and the human experience, and to the cosmos and our place in it.

MY STORY

Hi, I’m Giulia Eve Flores. I’m a Bolivian/Dutch NYC-born, Amsterdam-raised, London-trained actress, writer, producer, and founder of Lila Studios.

My love for meaningful storytelling bloomed early. By the age of 9, I was writing, directing, producing, and performing my own public shows in Amsterdam – always in English, my third language. I spent much of my childhood training and performing with the National Youth Theatre of Amsterdam, where my journey culminated at 17 when I won First Prize in the National Youth Theatre Contest for a deeply philosophical piece I wrote, directed, and performed in.

At 18 I moved to London to study acting, writing, and directing at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, the National Youth Film Academy, and the pioneering Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company, where I completed my BA (Hons) in Acting on a full scholarship.

Across my 4 years in the UK, I co-wrote, co-produced, and acted in multiple original short films, and devised, directed, and performed in 9 original, critically acclaimed theatre productions in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

While pursuing my artistic passions, I was struck by an unexpected and life-changing mystical experience at age 19 that completely transformed me and put me knee-deep on a path of self-realization. This awakening became the new engine behind all my creative work.

I returned to NYC at 22, where I acted, and founded the Conscious Performers Collective – a nonprofit theatre company that I trained, directed, and guided in devising original productions. We also facilitated transformational workshops in New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey, and ran programs in schools and holistic rehabilitation centers, which were a blend of meditation/mindfulness and creative expression.

During this time also I wrote my first screenplay, Becoming the One, and found mentorship under Trina Wyatt (founding director of the Tribeca Film Festival, founder of Conscious Good) and Barnet Bain (producer of What Dreams May Come and Homeless to Harvard). Becoming the One went on to win multiple accolades from the Austin Film Festival, Scriptapalooza, Launch Pad, and Screencraft.

I then joined Gaia as an Associate Producer of Original Content, where I produced 12 original series over the course of 3,5 years – including Divine Science, the most successful series in Gaia’s history. I also MC’d Gaia’s live events, was a writer and voice-over talent for their original series and social media, as well as an on-screen talent for social media.

Today, I’m the founder of Lila Studios, my production company dedicated to transformational cinema. I’m currently developing my narrative feature ECHO, along with two documentary projects – Rise of the Visionary and Timeless – each exploring the spiritual, emotional, and evolutionary essence of who we are and who we hold the potential of becoming.

Everything I create, whether on the page, on screen, or on stage, is devoted to awakening the heart, expanding the mind, and elevating the human spirit through the ancient, alchemical power of story.
